A Monumental Exhibition

I worked closely with three project partners to write, direct, and produce a multi-channel video series that would articulate the mission behind a groundbreaking exhibition on the National Mall while celebrating the six artworks and the creative vision and historical context behind each one.

After meeting with leaders and program staff to determine the shared goals and priorities for this series, I prepared interview questions, coordinated and oversaw a film crew and detailed shoot schedule, directed on location, managed archival research, and partnered with a video editor to create a series of pieces that captured the exhibition in the context of American history writ large. I also wrote the accompanying story on the Mellon Foundation website and worked with their social media manager to compose short-form content and copy.

Videos were shared with press and distributed on respective websites and social media accounts.
